General

What is OpenClaw?

OpenClaw is an open-source AI assistant framework that runs on your own server. MyClaw provides fully managed hosting so you don't need any technical knowledge to use it.

Do I need programming skills?

No. MyClaw handles all the technical work — server provisioning, security, updates, and monitoring. You just configure your assistant through a web dashboard and chat with it on Telegram.

Where are the servers located?

All servers run on Hetzner Cloud in Germany or Finland. This means your data stays in the EU, fully GDPR-compliant, with no exposure to the US Cloud Act.

Security & Privacy

Who can access my data?

Only you. Each user gets a dedicated, isolated VPS. We don't share resources between users, and we don't access your server unless you explicitly request support.

Are my API keys safe?

API keys are encrypted at rest and transmitted over HTTPS. They are stored securely on your dedicated server and never exposed in logs or dashboards.

Can I use my own domain?

Not currently, but this is on our roadmap. For now, your assistant is accessed through Telegram.

Technical

Can I SSH into my server?

MyClaw is a fully managed service — direct SSH access is not provided. If you need custom configurations beyond what the dashboard offers, contact support.

What happens if my server goes down?

We monitor all servers 24/7. If an issue is detected, we automatically attempt recovery. Persistent issues trigger alerts to our team for manual investigation.

How are updates handled?

We test OpenClaw updates in a staging environment before rolling them out. Updates are applied automatically with zero downtime. You can also trigger a manual update from your dashboard.

Billing

Can I switch plans?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial?

We don't offer a free trial, but we provide a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, contact support for a full refund.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards through Stripe. We're exploring additional payment methods.
